The new issue of lookKIT focuses on the exchange between science and society - as well as this year's Science Year "Participate!" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In the issue, Professor Senja Post, head of the Center for Applied Cultural Studies and Studium Generale (ZAK) of KIT, explains in an interview which challenges science communication has to face today. In addition, you will read about how Digital Citizen Science enables citizens to participate in research processes from home, how they can participate in research on issues related to mobility, sustainability, and other societal challenges in KIT's reallabs, and how the TRIANGEL OPEN Space brings together science, business, and society. In addition, you will learn how nudging influences our behavior and what opportunities and dangers lie in the nudges we encounter every day, for example in the form of the Nutri Score on food packaging.
