KIT 2025 Strategy

KIT started as a pioneer in the German science system and is now working on its systematic further development. As The Research University in the Helmholtz Association, KIT will fully exploit its synergy potential. In the years to come, KIT´s responsibilities as a national large-scale research institution and state university will be further united.

KIT´s cutting-edge research, academic education, and innovation are aimed at making essential contributions to the success of our society´s big projects, such as the energy transition, safe and sustainable mobility, or smart technologies for the information society. This goal can be achieved by high quality of research at both the national and international level and by research-based teaching.
