Good Research Practice

For centuries since the beginning of modern science, principles of good research practice have developed and been passed on to the younger science generation. They outline procedures that are of fundamental importance to scientific practice, its long-term success, and credibility by society. On July 19, 2021, the KIT Senate adopted the Statutes for Safeguarding Good Research Practice at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. For all KIT members working in science, these Statutes summarize our self-commitment to honesty and scientific work in binding rules. On September 18, 2023, the KIT Senate adopted the Statutes Amending the Statutes for Safeguarding Good Research Practice at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
